Madison and Tyler’s Boxwood Inn Wedding is an event that I’m proud to be part of.
Six weeks ago I got a message from Ellie, the matron of honor. Her little sister was getting married and due to some special circumstances, they only had about 4 weeks to plan the WHOLE thing. We met, brainstormed a bit, laughed, and then I listened to Madison (the bride-to-be) and Ellie plan pretty much all of the DIY wedding decorations in about 3.5 minutes flat. These two had a task and knew exactly what they wanted to accomplish — and with a small army of friends and family — absolutely nailed it.
Madison and Tyler’s celebration brought together a hundred souls to celebrate not just their union but the true bond of family. The warmth shared among them all made it a wonderful place to be. Kathryn, Derek, Josh, and the team at Boxwood Inn took care of all of the details and kept the lovebirds and their guests focused on what they were there to do: have an awesome time.
There were so many touching moments during the day that I’m pretty sure everyone shed a tear or two. From the bride’s grandmother officiating the ceremony to the emotional dance with the bride and her father all the way to the final group hug and synchronized air guitar/singing bash, this wedding was exactly how I like to see it: the bride and groom celebrating each other and those that love them.
Special thanks to all of the vendors who made their day something to remember!
