New York, New York

A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to be in New York City during one of the foggiest nights in recent record. The fog caught all of the lights of the city and amplified them in a way that made the evening feel the city’s heartbeat was visible. The glowing halos of of the vehicles and shops made it feel like I was two steps away from the 18th century. As if the gentle glow was emitted from the flickering of a lantern.

There’s a lot of things to enjoy about New York City. Seeing these things in such a new way is always appreciated.

All of these photos were taken around East 42nd Street in Manhattan, with a majority closeby to Grand Central Station and a handful right in Times Square.
